Thank you for your interest in volunteering to serve on the h+h americas 2023 Planning Committee. h+h americas will be taking place May 1-3, 2024, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois (Chicago). Our goal is to create a committee that reflects the diversity and richness of the crafts industry. We are grateful that you are willing to lend your expertise to helping to shape this year’s trade show.

Serving on the Planning Committee involves a certain expectation and time commitment:

Committee members are expected to attend four 1-hour Zoom meetings where we will work together to shape key aspects of the show. The expectation is that you will have your camera on and be present for the entirety of each meeting. We will send out materials that will take approximately 30 minutes to review in advance of each meeting. 

• September 11, 1 pm EST/ 10 am PST- Business conference planning (classes, workshops, panels, keynotes)

• October 16, 1pm EST/ 10am PST - Diversity and accessibility

• November 13, 1 pm EST/10 am PST - Networking and social opportunities

• January 8, 1 pm EST/ 10 am PST - Marketing the show

Some committee members may want to meet in between meetings in order to work through or fine-tune various aspects of the show. These meetings are optional.

Planning Committee members will receive free entry to the show and a complimentary class pass to attend any of the sessions free of charge. (Have a question? Email us: abby@craftindustryalliance.org)
