Final project evaluations (Thursday, June 13th)
The following form is for the evaluation of the final projects in Applied Machine Learning. Each person is asked to give their independent overall evaluation of each of the 15 (Wed) + 5 (Thur) = 20 projects (also their own!). You are thus asked to give 20 scores from 1 to 10 (10 being the best). You should try to use most of the scale, and have an average between 4-7. Your evaluation should be based on the following five criteria:
• Complexity of problem and depth of solution (incl. appendix)
• Choice of methods and arguments behind
• ML performance and own evaluation of it
• Clarity of presentation and how much the class will learn from your presentation
• Implementation, technical details, optimisation, etc. (your appendix)
You points will not influence the grading of the projects, only slightly your own evaluation, as good understanding (defined as correlation with our average scores) yields a few extra points. This project evaluation is not mandatory.
