All grant requests require a signature or an electronic letter approving your grant request submission from the following; The building Principal, Mrs.Noesges (K-5) or Mr. Shipley,(6-12) and or Mr. Rollo, Director of Technology(Mr. Rollo's signature is needed only if your project includes technology). MVEF will ONLY ACCEPT grant requests that are in compliance with the above defined signature process.
The MVEF will be accepting grant applications from Thursday, November 1, 2018 thru Friday, December 14, 2018. Grant applicants will be notified the week of January 18, 2019 of their application status.
This is a competitive grant process. 1.Once the grant cycle closes the applications are vetted by an internal committee of Mr.Shipley, Mr. Rollo, Mrs. Noesges and Mrs. Oldham.2. The internal committee then forwards the approved applicants to the MVEF Grant Committee for scoring and recommendations for funding. 3. The MVEF Grant Committee presents their final recommendations for grant awardees at the October MVEF Board of Directors meeting. Awardees will be notified the week of January 18, 2019.4. MVEF grant awards typically range from $500 - $2500, but each grant request is considered on its own merit for either full or partial funding.
