We are striving to hit a huge church wide goal of 150 different people connected to SRBC sharing a story of Faith Transformation in their lives in conjunction with our 150th SRBC Anniversary Celebration. We hope to have a full range of stories compiled from youth and adults, consisting of people who currently attend SRBC but also those who have moved away.
We would love for you to consider being a part of this by sharing your story! Once our stories are complete, we will be sharing these with our church via digital distribution or to be used at various worship services throughout the year to encourage SRBC to Follow Jesus...Further!
But, you may be wondering what kind of faith stories we are looking for exactly? Well, it's pretty wide open, but here are a few different ideas of the kinds of stories we're looking for:
Story Idea #1 - Your testimony of becoming a Christ follower. This doesn't have to necessarily be tied to SRBC, but just a chance to share your story of becoming a Christian.
Story Idea #2 - A story (stories) of a person, ministry, or specific experience (mission trips, volunteer opportunity, etc.) that you had at SRBC AND how that person, ministry, or experience impacted your faith development.
Story Idea #3 - A short story, in general, of how SRBC has impacted your faith formation (this could be whether you've been a part of SRBC for a few years or your entire life).
So many from SRBC have shared their stories already. The feedback from those stories have proven to bring both encouragement, a closer connection to the person sharing, as well as a challenge for individuals to learn and grow spiritually from their story. We can't wait to read your story as well, thanks for being a part of making our 150th celebration special!
