Letter to Crimean Political Prisoner

Thank you for taking time and writing this letter to brave Crimeans persecuted for their human rights activism. From former political prisoners we know, every letter carries deep meaning, as it provides moral support, reminds them they are not forgotten, and offers hope for eventual release.

Simply answer one or more of the following questions and AI will turn them into a complete, thoughtful message which will reflect your tone and genuine intent, and that is what matters most. Keep in mind that your message will be translated into Russian to meet censorship requirements in detention facilities. Please avoid harsh or explicitly political language, as such messages may also be blocked by prison censors.

Would you like to send letters to several addresses? Please feel out this form again.

You’re welcome to share your first name, age, and what you do—or anything you’d like your pen-pal to know about you.

Write a few words of support or a warm message to someone unjustly imprisoned. What would you want them to feel when reading your note?

What inspires you about the path you’ve chosen in life—whether it's your profession, your studies, or something else meaningful to you?
What brings you joy or peace in your free time? Hobbies, passions, daily rituals? Share something that lifts your spirit.
Tell about a film you’ve seen recently that stayed with you. Why did it move you? What did it remind you of?

Share a book or article that gave you new insight, sparked curiosity, or simply made you smile.

Have you traveled anywhere lately—or have a favorite place you'd love to visit? What made it memorable or special?

Seen or read anything lighthearted lately—like a surprising world record, an unusual nature video, or a moment of kindness online? Feel free to pass it on—it might bring someone else joy too.

You can ask your conversation partner a few gentle questions to invite them to share something back.
