The 2024 SPGA Opening Day Scramble will be on Thursday, April 17th, at the Auburn Golf Course, 29630 Green River Rd SE Auburn, WA 98092. The cost of the tournament will be $75.00 per player. This amount includes your round of golf, half golf cart (not an option), the prize fund and pro shop tariff and tax. The first tee time will be 0900 hours. 

*New this year: Non-members can join your group as a guest and be eligible to win! Non-member rate is $100.

This Spring Opener will be like last year, there will be divisions, based on handicaps and based on the number of participants. You may pick your own team and enter as a part of a team or enter as a single, and the committee will attempt to match you with a partner(s). Remember, in past years, very low total handicap teams fared poorly when giving strokes to teams with higher handicaps, so choose your teams wisely.

The top teams, in each division will be in the money. In the event of ties, the team score cards will be compared, beginning at the number one handicap hole, and continuing through the holes in handicap order until a lower score prevails. 

Once the deadline for entries has expired, you will receive your team and tee time notifications along with specific rules for play. Every effort will be made to accommodate tee time and ride sharing requests.

Your Seattle Police Golf Association membership application and fees as well as your Opening Day Scramble application and fee must be received by Thursday, April 3rd, 2025
