Thank you for your interest in volunteering to support the Friends of OPHS
The Friends of OPHS is our PTA whose aims are to raise funds for the enhancement of our
children’s experience at our school and to foster closer links between school, home and the
local community.
All parents/carers of our students and all our school staff are automatically members of our
Friends association. We also welcome community members who share with us the goal of
supporting OPHS to continue to excel and to give our children an excellent education.
We always need new volunteers even if you only have a small amount of time available! As
well as the traditional hands-on PTA support, we’re looking for people who can help us:
● Develop and manage a social media presence
● Build relationships with the local community shops and organisations
● Market and advertise our future fundraising campaigns
● Apply for grants and funding
