STEM Education & the Designation Process Workshop

Sulphur Springs Elementary School is hosting an event for those interested in STEM/STEAM education and/or considering applying for the STEM/STEAM Designation. The event is sponsored by the NE TN STEM Innovation Hub. 

Participants may choose from one of three sessions to be presented on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. (An alternative date is set for Tuesday, February 13th, in case of inclement weather or altered school schedules.)

The agenda for the evening event is as follows: 
5:00pm-5:15pm Meet & Greet with light refreshments

5:15pm-5:30pm Welcome & Introduction

5:30pm-7:00pm Select from the following sessions: 

Administration: 5:30-6:15 School Vision Casting/STEM Culture/Partnerships 

Grades K-85:30-6:15 Re-Imaging Related Arts: STEM/STEAM Mind Cave and CTE/STEM Lab

Grades 9-125:30-6:15 Curriculum Crosswalk Standard Integration: STEM/STEAM and Core Content

STEM Designation Collaboration K-126:15-7:00 Attribute 2: Curriculum and Instruction
