Girls That Sew is an emerging production house and creative collective, envisioned to operate out of a dynamic space such as the Russell Industrial Center, Lincoln Street Art Park, or another collaborative studio yet to be determined. Our mission is to serve as a vibrant hub and resource for those passionate about sewing — a place where we can learn from one another, refine our individual skills, and grow together in both craft and business.

We aim to foster a space where creative seamstresses and skilled alterations specialists can connect, collaborate, and create. Whether you’re a hobbyist looking to deepen your technique or an entrepreneur interested in small-batch manufacturing and mass-order production, Girls That Sew is built to support that journey.

This is the foundation of what we’re calling Sisters of the Traveling Bobbin (Name TBD) — a startup rooted in community, collective energy, and trade education. We’re currently looking for dedicated, passionate makers to join us on this journey.
