Data Visualisation Course -- Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the purpose of this survey?
The survey is undertaken in preparation of the data visualisation trainings facilitated by PARIS21. The responses help PARIS21 to better tailor the training to participants’ skills and requirements.

2. What is the data visualisation training about?
The training aims to promote better communication of statistics through effective data visualisation. National statistical offices, national and regional institutions are invited to the training to learn data visualisation tools. The training will likewise serve as a venue for cooperation to share experiences and practices, adopt existing data visualisation tools and ensure wider use in the region.

3. What will PARIS21 do with the survey results?
The responses from this survey will exclusively be used to assess participants’ training needs on data visualisation.

4. Who is to participate in the training and take the survey?
The target respondent of the survey are statisticians, analysts and IT staff of national statistics offices who feel comfortable using basic scripting languages, such as Stata, R or HTML.

5. By when should I submit my responses?
Please submit your response by 21 February 2016. You will receive a confirmation email upon submission of the form.
