2. INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS WITH TABBY
If you would like to pay in installments we have the option of Tabby, you can pay in 4 monthly payments. A 7% comission will apply.

3. LATE ENROLLMENT
Students may be allowed to enroll in a course after it has officially started, subject to availability. However, no discounts or refunds will be provided for missed classes. It is the responsibility of the student to catch up on any material or lessons missed prior to their enrollment.
4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
For online courses, students must have a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a functioning microphone and camera.
The platform used for online sessions will be Blackboard Collaborate. Students are required to familiarize themselves with Blackboard Collaborate before the course begins to ensure smooth participation.
It is the student’s responsibility to ensure these technical requirements are met to fully participate in the course.
5. COURSE MATERIALS AND CLASS LINK
Purchasing the physical course book is mandatory for both online and in-person courses. The book costs 250 AED and must be paid for before the course begins.
To collect the physical book, you may either visit the center in person or arrange for a courier to pick it up on your behalf.
For online classes, a session link will be provided before the course starts. This link will remain the same throughout the entire course, ensuring easy access to all sessions.
6. ATTENDANCE TRACKING
Attendance will be tracked throughout the course to ensure students meet the required 80% attendance rate necessary for eligibility to take the final exam.
Attendance will be recorded at each session, and students are encouraged to inform their instructor in advance of any planned absences. Failure to meet the attendance requirement may result in ineligibility to sit for the final exam.
7. TEACHERS
UCAM will provide a certified, native Spanish-speaking teacher for the duration of the course.
UCAM reserves the right to change the assigned teacher during the course as needed. However, students will be notified in advance of any teacher changes.
A trainee teacher may occasionally attend the class for observation or to conduct a lesson, but always under the supervision of an experienced teacher.
8. WHATSAPP GROUP
Before the course begins, UCAM will create a WhatsApp group that includes the teacher, students, and UCAM administrative staff. This group will be used to share important information related to the course, as well as details about other events and activities.
Teachers will respond to students' inquiries within this group during working hours. Please respect everyone's rest time by avoiding messages outside of these hours.
9. CATCH-UP LESSONS
If you miss one or more lessons, you have the option to schedule private tutoring sessions to catch up. These catch-up sessions are not included in the course fee and will incur an additional cost.
10. FINAL EXAMS
A final exam is included in the course fee and will be held at the end of the course.
To be eligible to take the final exam, you must attend at least 80% of the scheduled classes.
If you miss the exam on the scheduled date, a fee of AED 200 will be required to reschedule and take the exam at a later date. 11. CERTIFICATE
Upon passing the final exam, you will be eligible to receive a certificate issued by the UCAM Spanish Institute. You can request your certificate from the administrative staff, who will provide you an online one. If you require a physical copy please let us know.
12. COURSE WITHDRAWALS
If you choose to withdraw from the course after it has begun, please be aware that no refunds will be issued. However, depending on the circumstances, UCAM may allow you to transfer your enrollment to a future course session within three months, subject to availability.
13. TRANSFER BETWEEN TYPES OF COURSES
It is not possible to transfer payments from Group Courses to Private Tutoring. Once the course has started, you are expected to complete it.
14. MINIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS
A minimum of 5 students is required to run a group course. UCAM reserves the right to cancel the course if this minimum is not met, in which case a full refund will be provided.
If a course is opened with fewer than 5 students, the course price may be adjusted accordingly.
15. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STUDENTS
Each group will consist of a maximum of 10 students.
16. BEHAVIORAL EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to attend classes regularly, engage actively in the learning process, and treat instructors and fellow students with respect. Failure to meet these expectations may result in dismissal from the course without a refund.
17. PRIVACY POLICY
UCAM is committed to safeguarding your privacy. We respect your choice not to have your personal information shared with other parties. Your personal data will be handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.
18. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
UCAM will not disclose or share any personal information you provide without your explicit consent, except as required by law, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or similar legal mandate. In cases where it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of UCAM, its users, or third parties, disclosure may be warranted. UCAM will never sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
