CRRT GA Application Form 2023-2024 (Application Deadline: Friday, May 26, 2023)  
Thank you for your interest in the Culturally Relevant & Responsive Teaching (CRRT) Fellows Program. This year-long fellowship will introduce Graduate Assistants in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to best practices around serving an increasingly  racially and ethnically diverse student body.

ABOUT TRANSCEnD:
The CRRT Fellows Program is part of TRANSitions in Civil Engineering Degree education (TRANSCEnD), a project funded by a NSF Improving Undergraduate STEM Education at Hispanic-Serving Institutions grant. TRANSCEnD seeks to enhance the quality of STEM education and to increase retention of undergraduate students pursuing STEM majors at UNLV.

TRANSCEnD’s  CRRT Fellows Program aims to assist faculty and graduate teaching assistants in the development and implementation of culturally responsive teaching strategies.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT STIPEND:
$1,000

ELIGIBILITY:
This program is open to UNLV graduate students who serve as Graduate Assistants in STEM. Preference will be given to Graduate Teaching Assistants in critical transition courses in STEM.

REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Attend at least 6 of the 8 fellowship modules
(2) Actively participate in Fellow activities and presentations
