This highly interactive and practical two-week course is designed for leaders and lay Care providers who are or plan to be involved in member care. It will empower the participants to support others in the different seasons of their missionary journey.
The course includes topics like the seven ‘S’ of Missionary Care (Seven Care Support Systems for missionaries), the missionary life cycle, stress, resolving conflicts, listening and coaching skills, debriefing, helping others in grief and loss, trauma, depression, suicide, caring for families, third culture kids and singles in Missions, team dynamics, risk and contingency planning.
