Lawnmower Clinic 2013

The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) will be holding a Lawnmower Clinic on Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th, 2013.

Each year the Penn State ASABE Student Club sponsors this lawnmower clinic. The purpose of the clinic is to prepare PUSH-TYPE lawn mowers for the busy summer ahead, while earning money for our club functions. We offer the option of having your mower(s) picked up by one of our members, or you may drop it/them off at the Agricultural Engineering Building.

The following is a checklist of procedures that our members will perform on the mowers:
• Start (before servicing)
• Clean Under-Deck
• Sharpen and Balance Blade
• Secure Blade
• Clean Air Filter
• Check/Clean/Gap Spark Plug
• Change Oil
• Wash
• Start (after servicing)

The charge schedule is as follows:

A: $35.00 for mower(s) that are dropped off at the department

-Or-

B: $45.00 for mower(s) picked up and returned at client’s residence
(Within State College area only please)

If interested, please complete the form below...

Note: Although we may be engineers, this clinic is not intended to be conducted as a repair shop; however, we will note small problems and ATTEMPT to fix them.
