Thank you for your interest in the Cottonwood Rose Learning Community We are a budding alternative nature based education community serving kindergarten to grade 9. We operate in partnership with Heartwood Learning Communities through NIDES (SD71) and Hand in Hand Nature Education.

We’re honoured that you’re considering joining our circle of families learning in connection with land, community, and self.

Application Process:

1️⃣ Apply to Cottonwood Rose by completing this form
2️⃣ By the spring of 2026 we will contact you if there is space for your child at which point your family can attend an Open House day, meet the educators and PAC and get a sense of the program to see if its a fit. If it is, then we will finalize your enrolment by linking you up with the folks at NIDES.

Please note A $35 non-refundable registration fee will be collected once a space is offered to your child. Paying this fee confirms your intent and secures your placement.

*Spaces are offered based on cohort balance and program readiness rather than a first-come basis. Returning learners, siblings, and staff children are prioritized.
