2025 Open Call for Emerging HV Filmmakers
Thanks for your interest in screening a short-film as part of ArtPort Kingston & Cellar Door Cinema Club's Summer Film Series: Emerging Hudson Valley Filmmakers! 

Use this form to submit your film and supporting materials for review. 

The 2025 Summer Film Series will host two (2) Emerging HV Filmmakers shorts screenings, one on July 12th and one on August 23rd. Films submitted through this open call will be considered for both dates, prioritizing the date(s) that the filmmaker and/or a representative of the film can be present. Applicants will have a chance to disclose their available via the application form below. 

The events run from 7 - 10PM, with the films running from approximately 8:30 - 9:30 followed by a short moderated + audience Q&A with participating filmmakers. 

The 2025 Summer Film Series is co-produced with Hudson Valley filmmaker and programmer Jack Warren, who serves as the sole juror for this open call.

The deadline to submit this open call is Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 11:59PM ET. 
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until this deadline, and final decisions will be communicated no later than Sunday, June 1, 2025. 

A non-refundable $9 application fee is due upon submission, which helps cover the administrative costs of running this call. After submitting this form, for your application to be considered, please send this fee to @jack-warren-4 on Venmo.
