11月に廃屋集団、西村組とfor Citiesが共に開催した「HAIOKU Artist in Residency」。約2週間の滞在の中でベトナムからきたアーティストはそれぞれの視点、手法で作品を制作しました。神戸のまちからも多くのインスピレーションを受けた彼らに、今度は彼らの拠点であるホーチミン市のツアーをしてもらいます。
for Cities 新年会として、「HAIOKU Artist in Residency」に参加した5名のベトナム人アーティストによるホーチミン市のツアーを行います。ベトナム中からクリエイターやアーティストが集まるコンセプトショップOHQUAOやNEM SPACE、Homeland Artistsなど、彼ら自身が運営する拠点の他、5名のアーティストそれぞれの視点で切り取るホーチミンのクリエイティブスポットを、3日間かけてみっちりツアーしてもらいます。期間中は、現地のクリエイターやデザイナーとのミートアップもあります。ぜひご参加ください。

2日目は現地人しか行かないような住宅街のエリアも案内してもらう予定です。レストランや喫茶店、地図には載っていないようなローカルスポットを巡ったのち、夜は案内してくれるアーティストの運営するスペースのルーフトップでカクテルを楽しみましょう！

“HAIOKU Artist in Residency" was held in November by for Cities in collaboration with Nishimura-Gumi, a group of architects working on abandoned buildings in Kobe. During their two-week stay, the artists from Vietnam created works from their own perspectives and methods. Having received much inspiration from the city of Kobe, they will now give us a tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
Next year’s for Cities New Years Party will be in Ho Chi Minh City. The five Vietnamese artists who participated in the "HAIOKU Artist in Residency" will give a tour of their home city. The five artists will show us around the creative spots in Ho Chi Minh City that are run by the artists themselves such as the concept store OHQUAO, NEM SPACE, and Homeland Artists, where creators and artists from all over Vietnam gather. Plus they will show us around other creative sports in Ho Chi Minh City over the three-day period. There will also be meet-ups with local creators and designers. We look forward to seeing you in Vietnam!!

Day 1 (1/3)
We will mainly stroll around Chinatown in District 5. We will be guided by one of the artists to his recommended markets, temples, and restaurants.

Day 2 (1/4)
On the second day, we will be guided to a residential area where only locals go. We will visit restaurants, coffee shops, and other local spots that are not on the map, and in the evening enjoy cocktails on the rooftop of a space run by the artist who will guide us!

Day 3 (1/5)
On the third day, you will be guided by a local architect through the iconic architecture of Ho Chi Minh City. We will visit cafes and spaces with distinctive designs.
