Tournament Rules & Expectations
Gender-Blind Format:
I understand that this tournament is gender-blind, allowing teams to consist of any combination of players, regardless of gender identity.
Skill Level Accuracy:
I confirm that my DUPR rating is accurate and that I am entering the appropriate skill division.
Entry Fees:
I acknowledge that all entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizer.
Indemnification & Liability Waiver
Assumption of Risk:
I acknowledge that pickleball is a physically demanding sport, and participation carries inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries.
Release of Liability:
I understand that Spinwave and Gold Coast Pickleball are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damages sustained during the tournament.
Waiver of Claims:
I waive any right to claim damages against Spinwave, Gold Coast Pickleball, tournament partners, or event organizers for injuries sustained before, during, or after the tournament.
Physical Fitness:
I confirm that I am physically fit and medically able to participate in this event.
Additional Considerations:
Photography Consent:
I consent to the use of photographs or video recordings taken during the tournament for promotional purposes.
Code of Conduct:
I agree to adhere to the tournament's code of conduct, promoting sportsmanship and respect towards all participants and officials.
Emergency Procedures:
I acknowledge that I have been informed of the emergency procedures in place at Gold Coast Pickleball and agree to follow them if necessary.
