Assalamu Alaikum! We, the Annur Youth Association, AYA, are looking for new youth to join our team! 

Mission Statement: 
  • The Annur Youth Association's mission is to empower and support Muslim youth sisters of the greater Sacramento region by advocating for unity and Islamic identity. By volunteering you will directly contribute to a lasting legacy for generations of Muslims to come while gaining valuable collaboration skills and leadership experience that will help you excel now and in the future.
Duties Include:
  • Attending and participating in meetings to brainstorm ideas, provide updates, and share feedback
  • Assisting with planning and executing various events, including social events, halaqas, and larger events such as Qiyams, Eid festivals, and Conferences
  • Work and communicate closely with other volunteers to ensure a unified approach to event planning and execution
  • Leading discussions, workshops, or activities that promote growth for others and yourself
  • Serving as a role model and mentor for youth attendees, offering guidance, support, and a positive example
Minimum Requirements:
  • Volunteers should be in high school or above (Ages: 14+)
  • Volunteers should be respectful
  • Volunteers should be communicative
  • Volunteers should be hardworking

We recognize that everyone has their own commitments and responsibilities, so this role is designed to be flexible and non-intensive. It is entirely volunteer-based, and we deeply value any time you’re able to contribute.
