Author: Dr. Aizuddin Anuar is an Assistant Professor the Academy of Future Education, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His scholarship in comparative and international education is concerned with the relationship between education, (post)colonialism and sustainable development in Malaysia and wider Southeast Asia. He often utilises ethnographic, participatory and creative approaches in his research. In 2026, Aizuddin received the Newer Researcher Award from the Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE).
