Feedback on proposal to restrict sale of flavored tobacco, e-cigarette products
The Multnomah County Board of Commissioners is considering restrictions on the sale of flavored e-liquids and tobacco products, including menthol. Spurred by the steady rise in the rates of teen vaping and racial disparities among smokers of menthol cigarettes, the Board wants to take steps to protect residents from nicotine addiction and the resulting disease.
The Board will hold one more public hearing:
Tuesday, Dec. 3: 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Multnomah East Building, 600 N.E. 8th St., Gresham
