SASHA Testimony Submission
SASHA (Students against sexual harassment and assault) University of LEEDS

Testimonies submitted to us are stored on our secure database and are used anonymously within advocacy on social media, in research, and in submissions to the UK government. SASHA are a society campaigning against r*pe culture in and around the University of Leeds.

Please note: from 1ST NOVEMBER 2023 location-based or Leeds-specific testimonies may be passed onto the Harassment & Misconduct team (for example, if your experience happened in a specific accommodation at university) for safety, research, and prevention purposes. This will not impact past testimonies.

We are collecting your experiences of sexual harassment and assault in Leeds in order to:

-Tell survivors stories and empower other victims, creating a sense of solidarity and community.
-Use your testimonies as evidence for what is happening &  to show the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault in Leeds. Your horrible experiences can be turned into vessels for positive change.

Although sexual assault and harassment happens everywhere, we ask that you please only submit your experience if it happened in Leeds, for our data to remain Leeds-specific. Feel free to message us regarding your experience, even if it didn't happen in Leeds, and we can direct you towards support.

If you wish to retract your testimony, email us at sasha.leedsuni@gmail.com or feel free to edit your response anonymously.
