UK Open Textbooks Project
The Hewlett Foundation has provided funding for a research project which will be led by OER Hub (http://oerhub.net/) at The Open University (UK).    Open Textbooks have seen impressive growth and impact in the North American context, through providers and initiatives such as OpenStax, the Open Textbook Network, BC Campus, and Lumen Learning. With the exception of Siyavula in South Africa however, the open textbook model has largely been restricted to North America. The aim of this project then is to test the transferability of this model to the context of UK higher education.

This short form is used to collect information about people in UK higher education institutions who would be interested in being involved with the project and potentially joining a consortium of UK education providers who are piloting and evaluating open textbooks.

Any information you share will be kept within the project team and only used to keep you updated on the project.
