Career Expert Volunteer and Exhibitor Registration 2019
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Explore DC3C. This page is for career experts and education vendors. If you are a school trying to register for Next Steps 2019, please go to

DC3C Next Steps is an annual event during which students from DC Charters 14+ attend to learn about different careers from our volunteer career experts, and local education and training opportunities. In 2018 we had over 200 students from 13 different schools register to attend. We expect more than that this year!

The room is set up in an exhibitor, fair-like fashion with the career experts and education vendors throughout the room. This year we will have all the volunteers in the same room.

A career expert is someone who is willing to come in and talk about their career path. You should be prepared to talk about what is your current job, what does that mean, what education do you need for it, how did you get it. Dr. Foster will send out a sample as the date approaches.

An exhibitor is a local DC program who would like to talk to the youth about the education and training opportunities they have. You should be prepared to talk about what programs and certifications are available and what someone who has completed the program can do as a career.
