2024 TCMI Summer Workshop Supplemental Application

Welcome to the Tetra Chamber Music Institute (TCMI). Thank you for your interested in our 2024 Summer Workshops! 2024 Summer Dates: June 24-29 2024 in Tempe and July 8-13th 2024 in Scottsdale.

Please pay attention to which fields are required and make sure to fill in any and all required information.

**YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING:
  1. Complete STEP ONE: Student Registration
  2. Supplemental Application (this form)
  3. Your video audition (link can be submitted on this form or emailed within ONE WEEK from this application submission or by May 1st to tcmi@tetrainstitute.org). 

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MAY 1ST. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY MONDAY, MAY 6TH, 2024 IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED INTO A TCMI SUMMER WORKSHOP.  If you are interested in applying after the deadline, please contact us at info@tetrainstitute.org to see if there are spots available for your student’s instrument/level.

Individual audition requirements: 

1. A solo of one’s choice that best represents the applicant’s playing ability. (Approx. 1-2 minutes) 

2. Prepare with the following excerpt with the metronome ON. Please make sure it can be heard in the recording. Download 2024 Metronome excerpt at tetrainstitute.org/metronome-excerpt. PLEASE NOTE: If you have attended a TCMI Year Round or Summer Workshop in 2022 or 2023, this step is waived.

Pre-formed ensembles One movement from the standard string quartet repertoire. *Contact info@tetrainstitute.org for questions about repertoire.

This is not a merit-based scholarship, but tuition assistance for those who qualify.
