2025 TCMI Summer Workshop Supplemental Application

Welcome to the Tetra Chamber Music Institute (TCMI). Thank you for your interest in our 2025 Summer Workshops! 2025 Summer Dates: June 23-28, 2025 in Tempe and July 7-12th 2025, in Scottsdale.

Please pay attention to which fields are required and make sure to fill in any and all required information.

This is STEP 2 of the application process. Please make sure you have also registered in our Jackrabbit JUNE or JULY TCMI Workshop Class. (If you would like to register for both summer sessions, simply ADD CLASS at the bottom of the registration form)

APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MAY 1ST. 

YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED BY THURSDAY, MAY 8TH, 2025 IF YOU ARE ACCEPTED INTO A TCMI SUMMER WORKSHOP.  If you are interested in applying after the deadline, please contact us at info@tetrainstitute.org to see if there are spots available for your student’s instrument/level.

Individual audition requirements: 

1. A solo of one’s choice that best represents the applicant’s playing ability. (Approx. 1-2 minutes) 

2. NEW TCMI STUDENTS ONLY: Prepare the following excerpt with the metronome ON. Please make sure it can be heard in the recording. Download Metronome excerpt HERE. 

Pre-formed ensembles One movement from the standard string quartet repertoire. *Contact tcmi@tetrainstitute.org for questions about repertoire.

Please Note: This is due when you submit your TCMI Application. TCMI believes that economic circumstances should not prevent students from participating in our program.
