Somos um grupo de pessoas e organizações preocupadas com o futuro da Economia e com vontade de ajudar a mudar a forma como lidamos com o dinheiro e os recursos existentes. Dada a extensa variedade das iniciativas e empreendedores existentes (em Portugal e lá fora) e o potencial de aprendizagem que cada uma contém, propomos a realização de uma série de eventos, ao nível nacional, com convidados internacionais, que sirva de inspiração social e de encontro entre iniciativas, potenciando desta forma as soluções encontradas por cada uma, em simultâneo estimulando novas iniciativas e a criação de uma rede de suporte aos e entre projetos. Estas iniciativas, pela sua inovadora forma de ver e fazer economia, desempenham um papel fulcral no desenvolvimento das comunidades porque promovem a equidade na distribuição de recursos, a coesão social e a inclusão social e económica. Este é o momento para refletir sobre elas, promovê-las e registá-las, de forma a que sejam mais facilmente disseminadas e possam ganhar escala.

We are a group of people and organizations concerned about the future of our economical system, and willing to help change the way we deal with money and resources. Nowadays we assist to the proliferation of a variety of initiatives that embody new ways to look at and do Economy, manly using innovative solutions based on sharing, collaboration and mutual help between citizens, companies and organizations. These initiatives are driven by a diverse set of motivations and managed in many different ways, because they are the result of sometimes long and hard learning and experimenting processes that we must value and promote.
These initiatives play an important role in Community Development, as they foster social and economical inclusion, social cohesion and a more fare distribution of resources. On the other hand, their rapid development was faster than a meaningful conceptual discussion about them. So it seems necessary to reflect on the different emerging definitions of Economy, to register the different experiences and to produce more material on them, so that information about it is available to those who want to start something.
In order to do so, we propose to organize a set of events in Portugal, with the help of international projects and experts, to inspire and help kick off local initiatives, building relevant networks between people and organizations, as to help define a common mindset.
