Room parent responsibilities include: attending start up meeting at the beginning of the school year to receive guidelines & meet fellow classroom room parents & teacher, along with your class RP's you will coordinate games and crafts for  a 1/2 hour party for Harvest (Oct.), Winter (Dec. ), and Valentine (Feb.) parties,  be present for end of the year picnic/treat, serve as a welcome committee to any new families in your class that come after the start of school year

Be a part of a fun and creative program in your student’s classroom!  Art Awareness consists of four simple presentations during the school year.  All supplies and teaching materials are provided.  One or two volunteers are needed for each classroom; times are typically fairly flexible between teachers and volunteers.  There is a mandatory meeting in early October to explain the program.

The school would like to have 2-4 parents each morning and afternoon to help manage car and pedestrian traffic, keeping our school safe for everyone.
