Fall 2019 SOLID Mentorship Program - Student Sign Up
The SOLID (Society of Leaders in Development) Mentorship Program strategically matches SOLID members, a collection of dynamic personalities representing all facets and levels of the music industry, with university students who want to gain insight into different areas of the music business.
The SOLID mentorship program is an opportunity to connect one-on-one with an industry professional over the course of the Fall Semester. Those who sign up are committing to meet with their assigned mentor a minimum of two times between October 8th - December 1st. Students outside of the greater Nashville area may also apply to the program for distance-related mentorship.
Interested participants must:
1. Be a Senior or Junior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program (a limited number of recently graduated students may also be accepted)
2. Have completed a minimum of one internship (current spring internships count) OR one music-related volunteer experience.
Applicants may submit a letter of recommendation from an industry professional, your internship manager or a current/former professor. Letters should be sent to
with your name and "Fall 2019 Mentorship Program Recommendation" in the subject line. Applications submitted with a letter of recommendation will receive priority.
Applications are being accepted now through September 30th. As a part of the program, you are also invited and encouraged attend the exclusive Mentorship Program Kick-Off event on October 8th. Notification of acceptance into the program and event details will be emailed on October 4th.
