Can participant swim and stay afloat in deep water for 10 minutes?

Note: If participant cannot swim, they are still welcome to participate and will wear a WVC-provided PFD during any water based activities. Additionally, all rowing boats are accompanied on the water by a motor boat with trained adults and additional flotation devices.
A swim test will also be completed during practice time before we row on the water.
Flipping is an uncommon occurrence, but we do take safety very seriously and are always prepared.

I understand that I must provide a completed medical clearance document prior to starting training with WVC. *
I understand that I must register for a USRowing account. A "Basic" level account is sufficient.  *

(Not required if you cannot make it, but we will provide additional information about the season)
