You must be 16 years old or older to volunteer.
This event will be held at VanDusen Botanical Garden on April 9 & 10, 2016 from 10 am to 5 pm.
It is largely outdoors and will be held regardless of the weather.

To volunteer, you must commit to a minimum of one 6 hour shift on either Sat. Apr. 9 or Sun. Apr. 10, 2016; a box meal (for lunch or dinner) will be provided.
All volunteers are required attend the Volunteer Information Session on Saturday April 2, from 10am to 12pm at VanDusen Garden (with exceptions for repeat volunteers).
Although it may be helpful (but not necessary) for volunteers to have some knowledge of Japanese culture and have the ability to speak Japanese, all volunteer meetings, communications and volunteer activities on the day of the event will be in English.
Completion of this application form does NOT guarantee the applicant a volunteer position or guarantee certain shifts or areas of responsibility. The Volunteer Manager will contact you if you have been selected by March 21, 2016.
Volunteer roles will be assigned just prior to the Volunteer Information Session which will be held on Saturday April 2.
Sakura Days Japan Fair does not provide accommodation or transportation to volunteers.
