2024 Mile Summer Staff Application
Nol Dear Prospective Staff Member,

Thank you for your interest in being a part of 6 Miles’s summer staff.  It is a unique privilege and huge responsibility to serve campers and their families each summer. 6 Mile has impacted the lives of campers and their families through the love of Christ by providing fun and unique camp opportunities centered in God’s creation.

We are seeking enthusiastic men and women who are committed to growing in their relationship to Christ and to living out the Gospel. We are looking for those interested in investing in the lives of the young people we serve.  We strive to create a safe environment, intentionally seek opportunities to develop relationships with our campers, and share Christ in every aspect of daily life.  It is an honor to be entrusted with the care and instruction of these children and an incredible responsibility that we take very seriously.  Staff are constantly called on to sacrifice personal interests and put campers’ welfare and interest above their own.

Our summer staff is at the heart of our ministry and has a tremendous impact on the campers.  This is why we seek to hire the absolute best staff possible each summer. Before applying take some time to get to know us by looking at our website or talking to some former staff. See if your heart is drawn to our mission.  The staff application is rather detailed in order for us to get to know you as well as possible.  We prayerfully review each application and strive to place individuals in positions that match their various gifts and skill sets. Serving on 6 Mile staff can be tremendously rewarding through building relationships and personal spiritual growth; however, the biggest reward is found in pouring out oneself in service.

Please pray about this important decision and read through all of the following information carefully. We are excited about what God has planned for this coming summer and are praying for Him to bring us a staff that will serve Him well!  If you have any further questions regarding the camp or the application process, please text Sydney, our Program Director,  at 662-633-7584 or send an email to camp@6milecrv.com.

In Him,

Sydney Storment
