The Associated Press Media Editors Foundation is offering diversity scholarships to attend the Orlando NewsTrain workshop on May 15-16, 2015. Journalists, journalism students and journalism educators from diverse backgrounds are invited to apply. The scholarships cover the $75 cost of registration; travel expenses must be covered by the applicant or his/her organization. Please apply BY APRIL 22, 2015, for these competitive awards. To apply, complete and submit this application AND email a resume and up to three work samples to Gil Thelen, executive director of the Florida Society of News Editors, at gthelen1@icloud.com.
