Complete this form to rent out a spare room to ākonga (learners) of Toi Ohomai. Although Toi Ohomai is providing this platform as a service to the community and ākonga, it cannot and will not become involved in disputes that may occur as a result of these external listings.

Where does my information go?Your listing and all the information that you provide will be advertised on a Google Form located internally on the Toi Ohomai intranet and accessible only via a Google site associated with the Institute. Currently enrolled ākonga will be able to access it. There are also restrictions on who can edit the form.
By entering your email at the beginning of the form, you will be automatically sent a copy of the listing for your own records.
How will I be contacted by prospective tenants?
Your listing will not be actively managed by Toi Ohomai staff. Near the end of the form you will be asked to provide contact details that will be shared as part of your listing. A contact phone number is not compulsory, but a contact email is. Any interested tenants will be able to use this information and contact you directly.
Please ensure that you are comfortable with your information being shared in this way before submitting a listing.
The ākonga who moved in with me hasn't paid rent / has damaged my property. What can you do?
Toi Ohomai is only providing a platform to share accommodation vacancies as a service to the community and ākonga. The Insitute cannot and will not become involved in disputes that may occur as a result of these external listings and leave this to the respective parties to resolve.
I have pictures of my listing to share too, where can I send them?
Please send pictures of your listing directly to any prospective tenants who contact you.
How long will my listing be advertised for?
The last question of this form will ask how long you would like to advertise your listing for. After the selected timeframe has expired your listing and the associated information will be deleted.
I've filled my vacancy early or don't want to list it anymore, what can I do?
