As the light begins to peacefully settle over the city of Delft, I open my sunroom for an intimate ritual gathering. ASA Ritual brings together Japanese calligraphy, quiet dialogue around Japanese philosophy, and a sensory tasting of plant-based sushi.

This is not a workshop or a teaching session. You are invited to engage with and enjoy the experience in your own way. In Japan, there is a saying: “Writing reflects the person.” I offer a subtle reflection on what appears through each hand. We then move into a shared moment of tasting, engaging the senses with a few pieces of ASA signature sushi.
