Information about your Party

You will be asked to share a campsite with other parties, so we need to know how many people are in your party and other factors such as children, dogs, and recreational vehicle that may affect how you are assigned.

Are you bringing a recreational vehicle? If you are, please describe: is it a motorhome, trailer, or truck camper? What is its length? This is important because our sites are limited in number, many are short, and we must all share sites to accommodate the expected attendance. If there are too many large RVs, we may have to ask you to reconsider or find your own site.

For planning purposes, we'd like to know what kind of hikes the members of your party prefer. Actual signup for hikes will occur at the Campout.

Legal Stuff

Each participant will be asked to sign the Sierra Club Sign-in Sheet and Liability Waiver form when you arrive for the Campout Weekend. Also, if there are children in your party, we will ask the accompanying adult to sign an Individual Liability Waiver for Minors. And while Shadow Bay Campground is not all that remote, it is many miles from the nearest medical facility, so if you have a significant medical problem, please let us know. We may ask you to fill out our Medical Form so we are fully aware of your condition and its implications for our planned activities.

Remember, your reservation is not complete until we receive your check. As stated on the Waldo Campout web page, the cost is: $20 per adult and $10 per child 17 and under for the entire weekend (two nights). This donation is to cover the cost of the campground reservation and burgers for the Saturday night potluck. Checks should be made out to "Juniper Group Sierra Club" and mailed to: Juniper Group Sierra Club, c/o Environmental Center, 16 NW Kansas, Bend, OR 97703.
