Tell Hillel International -- Don't Bully Students!
Jewish students at Swarthmore have spent the past year painstakingly building inclusive, intellectually rigorous programming around Israel-Palestine.  Yet when Eric Fingerhut and Hillel International learned about the programming, they threatened lawsuit. Hillel is working against the very students they're supposed to support and engage.

Call Eric Fingerhut, Hillel International's President and CEO, and tell him that this is unacceptable.  You can use the script below, or personalize it as you see fit.  Once you've made the phone call, use the form below to let us know how it went!

Phone number to call: (202) 449-6560

Script:

You: Hello. My name is ____________. Can I please speak with Eric Fingerhut?

Them: No. Would you like to leave a message?

I’m _______ (name, organizational affiliation if any). I’m calling to ask that Hillel International and Eric Fingerhut stop bullying students and pushing them out of the Hillel community. I support the Jewish students at Swarthmore College who are building inclusive Jewish community by declaring themselves to be an Open Hillel. By threatening legal action against Swarthmore College, Hillel is wasting valuable resources and alienating Jewish students rather than engaging them. I ask that Hillel International and Eric Fingerhut stop prioritizing right-wing donors’ political agenda over their stated mission of enriching the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world.

Thank you for your time.
