Revolutionizing the Icelandic restaurant business - One delivery at a time

Back-in-the-day  - like a year ago - very few Icelanders had food delivered to their door. Maybe if they had a local pizza-place that delivered. Today it is possible to get everything from burgers and bulgur to beans and even beer delivered to where you are in 30 minutes.

To round off Iceland Innovation Week we are inviting you to join us for drinks, snacks and an interesting conversation about the future of  food in Iceland.

In this panel we explore how the entry of Wolt’s quick delivery has impacted the Icelandic restaurant business. Wolt Iceland’s Marketing Manager Sverrir Helgason gives us a quick rundown of the Wolt Iceland story. 2Guys Burgers’ co-founder Hjalti Vignis shares their growth story -how they grew from one to three burger-joints in less than a year. Pizzan CEO Bóas Bóasson tells the story of how the pizza-chain made their operations more efficient by outsourcing delivery to Wolt, and focusing on making the best pizza in Iceland. CMO Katrín  Aagestad Gunnarsdottir from Heimkaup explores the future with grocery delivery. Will home delivery of groceries and other goods take Iceland by storm in the same way as restaurant food? That and other topics will be covered in our panel discussion.

Come for the cold drinks or the insights, and stay for the chance to mingle with and have great conversations with our panel and guests afterwards. Hope to see you there.
