We seek first to understand and assume good intent while also acknowledging impact – if something we say or do causes harm we commit to working through it
Listen to each other with respect.
Listen from the “we”, and speak from the “I”. We speak from the “I” about our own thoughts, reactions, feelings, and experiences, not those of others or on behalf of their campaign/org
We do not debate someone else's experience.
Ask “what’s possible”, not “what’s wrong”.
Don’t yuck anyone’s “YUM”, such as putting down someone else’s idea.
Take space when you want to contribute, and make space for others to contribute.
Be present in the work but also take care of your needs (i.e. take calls/breaks when needed).
All content shared to Florida Palestine Network communication platforms should be: information that uplifts, highlights, amplifies, and brings awareness to our org.
Any content that generates negativity, unproductivity, distracts or opposes our values at Florida Palestine Network such as negative comments, will be removed.
