  The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) presents: 

Best Financial Practices: Allowable & Unallowable Expenses: The Importance of Being in Compliance – The goal of compliance is to ensure organizations are operating in a responsible and ethical manner while following the standards and guidelines set by the authoritative bodies. We will cover Consequences of Non-Compliance, Budgets, and Expenses – allowable/unallowable. The goal is to provide you the tools to manage your PIs awards. 

You’ll walk away with practical tools and strategies to confidently manage a grant by understanding what counts as an allowable versus unallowable expense. This knowledge is key to ensuring your receipts and expenditures align with sponsor requirements, keeping your project in full compliance. Whether you’re new or a seasoned Business Manager, this session will strengthen your financial decision-making and accountability.
