A Cure For Carissa

On April 23, 2013 Carissa Tillman was diagnosed with Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma, or FHCC for short. After doing some research, we learned that FHCC is a rare liver cancer that was not even discovered until the 1980's and was not named until 2010. There are only about 200 confirmed cases world wide, per year and the average age is 23 years old. As there is little research for this type of cancer, treatments are limited to clinical trials.

This will be a benefit tournament to raise money for medical bills, and to raise awareness of this particular type of cancer. It will be a TRIPLES, grass tournament. The price is $65 for adult teams and $50 for juniors ONLY during pre-registration! If teams register the day of the tournament, it will be $75 for adult teams and $60 for juniors. The tournament will be held at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, NC. Please keep in mind that it IS a benefit tournament so the price is a little bit higher. Thank you so much, in advance and we look forward to seeing you and your team on July 13th at the Jerry Long Family YMCA in Clemmons, NC!

Registration cut off will be Wednesday, July 10 but we will have registration open to teams the day of the tournament, also. However, we cannot promise you will get a t-shirt if you do not register in advance. Registration and check in will start at 8am the day of the tournament.
