Application For RMS Scholarship - Due June 15th

The Reunion Music Society (RMS) accepts applications for scholarships each year by June 15th for the upcoming academic year Fall and Spring semesters.

Scholarship winners must enroll in NVCC MUS 148 or 248 orchestra ensemble in the Fall and Spring and play in the NOVA Symphony Orchestra for both semesters. They will receive reimbursement for tuition fees for those classes plus a stipend of $500 for the year.

1. I, the person named in this application, am submitting this application myself and not on behalf of anyone else.
2. All answers are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
3. I will submit an audition recording of myself playing my primary instrument. The recording must be in MP3 format and emailed to reunionmusicsociety@gmail.com.
4. I will abide by the terms set by Reunion Music Society, Inc., for all aspects of this scholarship.
5. I understand that applications submitted after August 10, 2022, and incomplete applications, may not be considered.
6. I understand that if I cannot submit this application digitally, or if I cannot email my audition recording, I must contact reunionmusicsociety@gmail.com for instructions on how to submit them by mail.
7. In addition to submitting this application electronically, I will print it and sign it and deliver it to RMS when requested. I will also have my parent or legal guardian sign it if I am under 18.
8. Decisions by the RMS are final.

NOTICE: IN THE EVENT THAT THE NVCC CAMPUS DOES NOT OPEN DUE TO COVID OR OTHER PRECAUTIONS, STUDENTS WILL PARTICIPATE IN INTENSIVE SMALL-ENSEMBLE AND CHAMBER MUSIC ACTIVITIES, FACILITATED BY WEEKLY ON-LINE DISCUSSION CLASSES.
