Dear Johnson families,

To better support all of our Lycée students, we are implementing a free tutoring program for FRENCH during this trimester of  remote learning. While the program is opened to all students, priority will be given to the following students:
- students who are free or reduced lunch
- students who received a recommendation from their French teacher
- students with significant skills deficit
- students with extenuating circumstances

Tutoring sessions will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00-6:00 pm, with sessions lasting 45 minutes. The first session is from 4:00-4:45 pm and the second session is from 5:00-5:45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and/or Fridays. Anticipated start date is September 14. Please note that this start date is contingent upon receiving all background checks from tutors.

If you think that your child qualifies for this program, would benefit from it, and you can commit your child to attend all sessions, please complete this form by TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH AT 8:00 pm.

If you get a spot, your child IS EXPECTED TO ATTEND EACH TUTORING SESSION. PLEASE, TAKE THIS COMMITMENT SERIOUSLY. While this program is free for students, it comes at a cost for the school and tutors make themselves available for a given time on a given day. If your child can't attend his/her session, please inform Mary-Devon Dupuy (mdupuy@lfno.org) in a timely manner. After three unexcused absences, a student will be dropped out of the program and replaced by another student.
