General Volunteer Application
Dear Volunteer,

Thank you!! We're so grateful for you considering our organization as a volunteer platform to help others. At Paragon Service Dogs we believe in the transformative power of volunteerism and the positive impact it can have on both individuals and communities.

There are many avenues in which you can support the mission of Paragon Service Dogs. This application is for anyone interested in any volunteer activities other than raising or sitting a puppy in your home. If you are interested in hosting a dog in the program at your home, either for a short-term visit or long-term raising, please fill out the relevant application on our website. Thank you for your interest and we appreciate your support in whatever way makes sense for you.

Thank you again and we're looking forward to connecting with you!

Onboarding Process
The onboarding process ensures a smooth transition for you into our volunteer community. Here's an outline of what this process entails:

1. Application: Complete the form below. Once the form has been filled out, we will follow up with an email letting you know we received your application.

2. Background Check: Before we set up our Meet and Greet, we ask all volunteers to complete a background check. The fee is $25 to complete.

3. Meet and Tour the Facility: This is everyone's favorite part! Come and meet some of the dogs in the advanced stages of training, possibly see their alerts, and see our beautiful place. These dogs live on campus. If you've expressed an interest in supporting the dogs with care such as grooming or walks, these dogs will likely be the dogs you spend your volunteer time with. During the meet and tour, we will all get to meet one another and ensure it's a good fit!

4. Orientation: Lastly, you'll attend an orientation session to learn more about our organization's mission, values, and volunteer opportunities. You will receive important information regarding safety protocols, expectations, and guidelines for the various volunteer roles.

Warm regards,
The Paragon Team
