"BASA Visits Colombia" Emerging Markets Project Interest
This year, BASA has been given the opportunity to participate in the Emerging Markets with a two week visit to Colombia! This program has been designed specifically for business students to allow them to travel to a developing country to interact with local businesses and gain valuable insights on what it is like to live and work there.

-Emerging Markets: Travel for aspiring professionals looking to stand out in their career. Learn how business is done in developing countries and gain tangible experience that employers are looking for!

-Exclusive Company Tours: We'll bring you to local and international organizations, including the El Alpujarra Administrative Center, Certified Colombian Coffee farms, and the Cartagena Port!

-Cultural Integration: While on tour, you will take part in two local cultural integration activities to learn the local language and business etiquette.

-Networking With Professionals: You'll have the opportunity to speak with locals and professionals currently working in that market. Hear their stories, understand their realities, and uncover their daily challenges.

-Destination Activities: We include must-see activities and sights in your itinerary. You will explore communities, meet locals, visit historian sites, discover the most Instagram-worthy hot spots, and try incredible food throughout your tour.


-Destination: Colombia (Medellin, Bogota, and Cartagena)

-Length of trip: Departing April 27 for two weeks

-Cost: $3500 per person

-Flexible payment plans available and BASA will be helping with fundraising if there is an interest

-All inclusive (see below for more details)

-Option to stay in destinations longer or continue traveling after tour


-International flight to and from destination (can be flexible if you want to continue to travel)

-Hotel accommodations (3 stars +) or traditional lodging

-Company tours

-All activities in the itinerary (no extra cost for these)

-Local guides

-All breakfasts and some lunch and dinners (to give you flexibility to explore on your own)
