PTO Committee Volunteer Form 2015-2016
Welcome! Thank you for taking time to complete the online PTO Volunteer Form for the upcoming school year.

On this form you will find descriptions of PTO committees to help you find opportunities that best fit your interests and schedule. Also, you should use this form to indicate if you wish to be considered for a Room Parent position. Please be sure to complete all the pages and click "submit" when you are finished.

There are many ways to get involved at Hubbard Woods and everyone's participation is welcomed and appreciated! The PTO has over 40 different committees and jobs requiring nearly 200 individual volunteer slots. When you become involved you will find yourself in good company with other parents who share the desire to create the best possbile educational experience for our children.

It is our goal to find a way for every single member of the Hubbard Woods' parent community to become involved, whether by serving as a committee chair or helping on committees sometime over the course of the year.  There truly is something for everyone.  We have opportunities that can be pursued exclusively from a computer at home and opportunities that will facilitate engagement with other families at Hubbard Woods.  You pick!

By all means, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me either by phone or email at hubbardwoodspto@gmail.com.  Thank you for sharing your time and talents!  Terrific parent support is one of the things that makes Hubbard Woods such a wonderful place for our children!

Sincerely,

Jen Hayes

Room Parents
Becoming a room parent is one of the best ways to get to know your child's classroom and teacher as well as other Hubbard Woods families.  Each classroom has a minimum of two room parents whose shared responsibilities are three-fold.  First, room parents provide support to the the teacher by coordinating parent volunteers to help in and out of the classroom as needed with special projects, activities, field trips, class parties, etc. Second, room parents work to encourage positive social interaction between families of the class.  This may include organizing opportunities for children/parents/families to get together or welcoming a new family to the classroom.  Finally, room parents serve as representatives of the PTO by sharing information with families and encouraging participation in PTO sponsored activities.
Please check here if you are interested in being a room parent for your child's class.
Optional:  If you have more than one child at Hubbard Woods and wish to specify the child/grade you'd like to be a room parent for, do so here.
