Kaplan Graduate Achievement Award

One nominee from each undergraduate institution is eligible for consideration for the Kaplan Graduate Achievement Award. A nominee should be a student who applied to medical, dental or veterinary school while a student at your undergraduate institution and is currently in their first year of their health profession program. The student selected to receive the award will receive a $1000 cash award along with a Kaplan preparation course as appropriate for their chosen field. In addition to completing this form, the TAAHP undergraduate pre-health adviser must email:

(1) a copy of the nominee's unofficial undergraduate transcript
(2) a letter of support detailing the reasons the adviser believes the student is a good candidate for the award
(3) a one page personal statement written by the student explaining their personal and academic experiences that
motivate them to pursue their professional goals.

All nominated students will be recognized at the annual TAAHP meeting in February. Please send your documents to support your nomination to Mary Wells at mdwells2@utep.edu.

Please complete your nominations by December 7, 2013.
