Canoe / Kayak Registration

• IF YOU ARE PROVIDING YOUR OWN PADDLING CRAFT
Those wishing to participate in the Boat Parade with their canoe, kayak or other water craft are encouraged to fill out the registration form below. A minimum donation of $10 per person is requested to help make this event possible. The first 200 individuals to register (you must register yourself individually to qualify for this offer; anyone else that you register along with you will not qualify and must register on their own) with a $10 donation will receive a Bayou Vermilion District ChicoBag made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles. You can make your donation by clicking on the link below:

As a paddler you will have the option to row to Rotary Point boat launch, roughly about 3 miles from the parade starting point, or paddle all the way to Camellia Bridge canoe launch, roughly about 5.5 miles. There will be a complimentary shuttle service that will leave the Camellia Bridge Canoe Launch from approximately 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.. to drop you off at Vermilionville. We encourage you to drop off your water craft in the morning at Vermilionville, check-in and then head to Camellia Bridge launch to park your car and wait for the shuttle service. We encourage you to take advantage of the shuttle service since there will not be a shuttle service to bring you back to Vermilionville following the parade.
