Conversation Partners Program Application
PCC's Office of International Education invites you to apply to be a Conversation Partner for Spring Quarter 2016! The Conversation Partners Program at PCC provides the opportunity for international and other non-native English speaking students to meet informally and talk to PCC students who are native English speakers about mutually interesting topics. International and other non-native English speaking students have the chance to practice their English conversation skills, to learn more about U.S. culture, and to meet U.S. students. Native English speaking students volunteer to have the opportunity to meet students from other countries, learn more about different cultures, and earn community  based-learning credit for their courses, if applicable.

Once this application has been completed and reviewed, if you are selected, you will be invited to attend an orientation with the International Activities Coordinator. During this orientation, the IAC will work with you to set a conversation time for the term (week 3-10). The IAC will be available for support if there are difficulties or issues that arise during the program.

*Please note: if you are selected as a Conversation Partner, you MUST be available each week during your conversation time. It will be advertised with international students and cannot be changed.*
