Tornado Holiday Market Vendor Application

When: Saturday, November 7th
Hours: 10am-4pm (set-up 8am-9:45am, load-out 4pm-6pm)
Where: Yelm High School Gymnasium- 1315 West Yelm Ave, Yelm, WA 98597

Join us for our first annual Winter holiday market with over 50 vendors, Booster Team Clubs and ASB Student Groups offering handmade gifts and Holiday cheer!

The Tornado Holiday Market is a juried event; all vendors participating must be approved by coordinators. Photos of product or booth set-up MUST be emailed to the event coordinators at yhsboostermarket@gmail.com . In lieu of sending pictures, you MAY provide your social media account(s) for coordinators to view your product (please make sure they are public). 

The event will be focused on handcrafted or handmade products, but we may allow a very limited number of MLM vendors. 

Applications will close September 13th. Notifications will be sent out September 20th.

Electricity will not be available for vendor use. If electricity is required, vendors will need to provide their own portable electricity/power source (Anker, Jackery, etc.). *

Wi-Fi access at YHS is limited due to student restrictions. If you require internet connection to conduct business (process payments, social media promotion, etc) please provide an email address for each device that will be used. A one-time certificate will be processed and issued for each email address to use for internet access via Yelm Community Schools. Please separate more than one email address with a comma.

Payment Policy
Invoices must be paid within 2 weeks of receiving.  If you cannot pay by the due date, you must contact YHS Connects before the due date for an extension. yhsboostermarket@gmail.com

**If the invoice is unpaid by the due date and no contact is made, it will be canceled and the space offered to someone on the waitlist.**

Refund Policy
Booth fees are only refundable if the market is canceled by YHS Connects.  If you are unable to participate, contact the coordinators immediately.

Raffle
YHS Booster will be conducting a raffle during the market featuring items from market vendors and local businesses. Are you able to donate a product or gift certificate for future use? *Suggested minimum $15 value

Rules of the Market
Vendors must be set-up by 9:45am and stay until the end of the Market.  No teardown is allowed before 4pm. Booth displays must have protection to prevent scratching of the floor and cannot be attached to the walls.  Tables need to have tablecloths that reach the floor, or as close as possible. Vendors are responsible for all necessary tables/display items to run their booth properly. One chair per space will be provided.

Friendly reminder- We are on school grounds and must obey school rules including but not limited to no smoking/vaping, no alcohol, no foul language.

Vendor Expectations
We ask that vendors self-advertise the market at least 3 times leading up to the market.  This can be on social media, website, printing flyers, etc.  We will advertise, this will just help boost the advertising that is already out there.

We also expect vendors to have a positive attitude and get along with other vendors. This is the same for any "helpers" you have in your space with you.

LIABILITY
YHS Connects/Yelm High School/Yelm Community Schools, it's owner and it's venue partners will not be responsible for any damage or loss to the vendor property, injury to, or death of the vendor. YHS Connects/Yelm High School/Yelm Community Schools is not responsible for ensuring sales. The vendor holds themselves accountable for all risks involved, including loss, damage, liability, or injury from any cause. The vendor releases and waives any claims against YHS Connects/Yelm High School/Yelm Community Schools, it's owners, and it's venue partners related to the previously mentioned statements.
