L’été dernier, vous étiez 18.000 à faire vibrer l’abbaye de Forest, et on a hâte de recommencer avec vous ! 🎉 Le Forest Sounds Festival revient les 29 et 30 août pour sa 9ᵉ édition, avec pop, rock, soul, DJ sets affûtés, performances et engagement via le village associatif, le tout dans une ambiance magistrale.
Organisé par Le Palais des Sciences ASBL, en collaboration avec la commune de Forest et Le Brass, le festival recherche comme chaque année des volontaires enthousiastes pour faire de cette édition un succès. Prêt·e à embarquer ?
1. Les obligations ✅
- Avoir 16 ans minimum ou être accompagné·e d’un adulte
- Être motivé·e et de bonne humeur
2. Les avantages 💎
Le bénévolat n’est pas rémunéré (sauf exception au bar, voir point 3), mais voici ce qu’on t’offre :
- Un repas (tbc selon l'horaire de ton shift)
- Des tickets boissons
- Un t-shirt Forest Sounds Festival
- Accès prioritaire aux billets de la prochaine Antitapas Night + une boisson offerte
3. Bar : bénévolat ou rémunération ⚠️
- Petit shift non rémunéré (3-4h vendredi/samedi) pour soutenir ton petit festival ❤️
- Long shift rémunéré (€10/h – 6h vendredi, 10h samedi) → Expérience requise, on cherche des pros pour gérer l’affluence !

Last summer, 18,000 of you brought Forest Abbey to life, and we can’t wait to do it again! 🎉 Forest Sounds Festival is back on August 29 & 30 for its 9th edition, featuring pop, rock, soul, high-energy DJ sets, performances, and community engagement through the association village—all in an unforgettable atmosphere.
Organized by Le Palais des Sciences ASBL, in collaboration with the Municipality of Forest and Le Brass, the festival is once again looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this edition a success. Ready to jump in?
1. Requirements ✅
- Be at least 16 years old or accompanied by an adult
- Be motivated and full of good vibes
2. Perks 💎
Volunteering is unpaid (except for certain bar shifts, see point 3), but here’s what we offer:
- A meal, depending on the lenght of your shift
- Drink tickets
- A branded Forest Sounds Festival t-shirt
- Priority access to tickets for the next Antitapas Night + a free drink
3. Bar shifts: Volunteer or Paid ⚠️
- Short volunteer shift (3-4h on Friday/Saturday) to support your little festival ❤️
- Long paid shift (€10/h – 6h on Friday, 10h on Saturday) → Experience required, we need pros to handle the rush!

Vorige zomer lieten 18 000 bezoekers de abdij van Vorst daveren op haar grondvesten tijdens Forest Sounds. Dit jaar is het festival toe aan haar 9e editie en we hebben er alvast zin in! We sluiten de zomer af in stijl op 29 en 30 augustus 2025, opnieuw in de abdij. Op het programma: pop, rock, soul, strakke dj-sets, performances en een verenigingsdorp, en dat alles in een magische sfeer.
Forest Sounds wordt georganiseerd door de vzw Palais des Sciences, in samenwerking met de gemeente Vorst en haar cultureel centrum Brass, en we zijn opnieuw op zoek naar enthousiaste vrijwilligers om deze editie tot een succes te maken. Klaar om mee te doen?
1. De verplichtingen ✅
- Je moet minstens 16 jaar oud zijn of begeleid zijn door een volwassene.
- Je moet gemotiveerd en goedgehumeurd zijn.
2. De voordelen 💎
Vrijwilligerswerk is onbetaald (behalve voor bepaalde barshifts, zie punt 3), maar we bieden je:
- een maaltijd (afhankelijk van de uren van je shift)
- drankbonnetjes
- een t-shirt van Forest Sounds Festival
- voorrang op tickets voor de volgende Antitapas Night in de herfst en een gratis drankje tijdens die avond
3. Barshifts: Vrijwillig of Betaald ⚠️
- Korte vrijwillige shift (3-4 uur op vrijdag/zaterdag) ter ondersteuning van jouw klein festival ❤️
- Lange betaalde shift (€10/u – 6u op vrijdag, 10u op zaterdag) → Ervaring vereist, we zoeken ervaren krachten om de drukte te beheersen!
